Dear Ones,

Barry ended up in the hospital last week with a serious infection (listeria) which led to early sepsis, a blood infection. His fever got as high as 105 and then dropped precipitously as did his blood pressure. He was very seriously ill and we are very grateful to the Stanford docs/nurses for saving his life.
